Daniel & Courtney’s Wedding | Sydney Wedding Photographer

I want you to imagine for a moment that you can picture the happiest couple in the world… go ahead, close your eyes and picture them in your mind. Beaming faces, loads of happy tears, constant embraces, loads of laughter, genuine connection… now open your eyes, scroll down the page a little and let me introduce you to Daniel and Courtney!

These 2 did not have the easiest start to their wedding planning, finding out that their first wedding venue had to cancel their reservation and that their original photographer did a runner after being paid in full! Despite the rocky start, their gorgeous wedding day went off without a hitch!

We started with the prep photos, including all the tiny details you never want to forget. They had organised a “first touch” which involved Daniel being blindfolded and they held hands in the shade of a beautiful tree while exchanging a gift and letter they had written each other. There were tears from all present as Daniel opened his gift to reveal a lovely broach containing the images of his dearly missed late grandparents. Leaving Daniel to make his way to the ceremony, we headed back to the room to see Courtney’s dad for his first glimpse of his little girl. He barely made it through the door before bursting into tears and crumbling into her arms.

Getting married on the lush green grounds of the incredible Gledswood Estate in South West Sydney, they had nothing but love surrounding them with an intimate gathering of their families and friends. This too was a beautiful mix of emotions. Tears going hand in hand with laughter! Once they had sealed the deal with a kiss, they mingled with family and friends before stealing away to explore the breathtaking layout of the grounds. With plenty of golden afternoon light, Craig from Puzzleman Productions and I gave them prompts and word games to play, encouraging them to relax in front of the camera and connect naturally, something these 2 definitely DID NOT struggle with. Their connection is dynamic!!

With the reception party in full swing, we managed to find time to make our way into the night for some flash photography fun, creating a scene fit for a Disney movie!! Returning to the party in time for dancing, hysterical speeches, my favourite “The Shoe Game”, and some of the best wedding cake I’ve ever had (believe me, I’ve tried my fair share) we partied into the night, wrapping things up with a magical sparkler exit!

Congratulations to the adorable Mr. and Mrs. Micallef and thank you both so much for sharing your special day with us!! xx

Al & Elly’s Wedding | Sydney Wedding Photographer

Well this certainly was a wedding I did not want to leave! I went home on such a high, cheeks sore from too much laughter and a full belly of the most amazing slow cooked meats!!

Al has not always been dealt the best hand in life, but his luck has certainly changed with his gorgeous wife Elly! These two are the epitome of what true love is! On the grounds of their incredible acreage property, they were joined as husband and wife in an intimate ceremony on the most glorious October afternoon. Elly’s grand entrance was one to rival them all, riding in on horseback to marry her prince charming! It was then off to Buxton train station for some photos, capturing their spellbinding connection in the golden afternoon light.

Friends and family traveled from all around to witness their nuptials and enjoy many fun filled festivities into the night. As the sun sank and the moon came up to play hide and seek from behind the clouds, we snuck away from the reception into the dark to capture some night time magic with my flash, incorporating the incredibly beautiful greenery lining their driveway. They also had a magnificent willow tree in the front paddock and a very attached fur baby who wanted to get in on the photoshoot action.

Congratulations to Al and Elly and thank you both so much for inviting me to capture so many wonderful moments for you on your wedding day!

Matthew & Kate’s Wedding | Sydney Wedding Photographer

Watsons Bay Wedding Photographer

When you meet with a bride & groom for the first time and go over their wedding plans to find out that they are getting married at one of Sydney’s most amazing destinations, that the best man is your best friends little bro, and that they want to incorporate a battle with light sabres, Harry Potter wands and Harley Quinn’s hammer, your inner geek squeals with delight that you have found your people!

I had the most amazing time with my wonderful assistant, Brett from Hand in Hand Photography as we went about capturing Matt & Kate’s incredible day.

On the grounds of the spectacular Dunbar House on Watsons Bay, Kate met Matt at the end of the aisle in an intimate ceremony followed by canapés and dinner inside. We ventured up to Gibson’s Beach, a particularly meaningful location for their photo’s since that area was once owned by Matt’s relatives many years ago. Having a bridal party who were not afraid to laugh at themselves and relished the opportunity to partake in some cheeky antics lead to their faces being permanently fixed with these animated smiles, eyes crinkled and squinty with genuine laughter!

As the sun disappeared across the water, an epic battle broke out involving light sabres, wands being drawn, and even a bubble blowing unicorn! I’m not entirely certain of who won, but Kate ended up being led away in handcuffs to the reception thanks to best man Kyle… I mean officer Kyle. With a wonderfully relaxed and fun filled evening that followed, we somehow managed to sneak outside for some night shooting, and partied on into what was an absolutely magical evening!

Congratulations Matthew and Kate, and thank you so much for allowing Brett and I to be part of such an impressive day with you and your families!

Adam & Jenna’s Wedding | Sydney Wedding Photographer

Sydney Wedding Photographer

I may have had a slight photographer crush on these 2… everything on their big day was perfect… PERFECT! Mother nature certainly put on a show for us with one of the warmest July days on record, and boy did these 2 love birds lap up every moment of glorious sunshine.

With a beautiful intimate gathering of their families and closest friends, Adam & Jenna tied the knot overlooking the amazing views at Salmon Haul, Cronulla. Every tiny detail was styled to perfection and you could see their love reflected everywhere you looked. After sealing the deal with a kiss and a quick mingle with guests, we stole away for some pics under the cliff with 2 very cheeky daughters in tow, who wasted no time in giggling and expressing their disgust with every kiss or snuggle that mum and dad shared.

With a lovely relaxed lunch at the wonderful Summer Salt Restaurant at Cronulla, lots of selfies and the most incredible banana wedding cake from Sprinkles and Cream, we farewelled everyone and sprinted up the road to nearby Greenhills Beach just before the sun disappeared to capture some sweet sunset magic.

Congratulations Adam & Jenna and thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special day with you!

I’m an old school romantic, so despite it raining on this pair’s wedding day, I always see the silver lining. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. The overcast days are a photographers dream because the light is super soft and flattering! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location, day or couple. These 2 crazy kids had such a beautiful park ceremony, small and intimate, overlooking Sydney’s spectacular features. I was so surprised how much we fitted into their 4 hour wedding!

The ceremony was followed by lots of laughs on the little beach at Birchgrove Oval, a short water taxi trip across the harbour to Woolloomooloo Wharf for some photos and a scrumptious reception dinner at Kingsleys.

Thank you Jason & Natara for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your special day!

Chantelle and I grew up together – we lived next door to each other our entire lives, so when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I jumped at the opportunity!

The lead-up to their big day was the wettest March that I could remember, so it was no surprise to wake on the day to torrential rain. Despite the wet weather, it couldn’t dampen their happiness. It was a gorgeous ceremony and reception at the picturesque Panorama House at Bulli. Thick fog had engulfed the mountain top, we couldn’t see anything further than a metre ahead, and the rain just didn’t seem to relent. The whitewash just made everything soft and beautiful and Chantelle just looked radiant! They said their I-DO’s in an intimate indoor gathering of their closest friends and family.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of every dry second we could. The bridal party took a drive down the hill to the gorgeous beaches at the foot of Stawell Tops and captured some stunning location shots. As night rolled in, the reception got into full swing and we were able to steal away to grab some night shots in the beautiful gazebo, with quite literally a 5 second break in the rain.

Congratulations Nick & Chantelle!

The wedding of these 2 love birds was filled with many beautiful moments, deep connections, and antics aplenty! We even slotted in a trip to McDonalds in-between the ceremony and reception, just because. Nathan, the lovely Pastor at Lifegate Church in Padstow was blessed with the honour of performing the marriage ceremony for his little sister Angie. Their ceremony was followed by a relaxing stroll through the greenery of the glorious Camellia Gardens at Caringbah followed by the newly weds partying the night away with their nearest and dearest. This was one wedding where I was made to feel like family rather than just the photographer! Thanks Stephen & Angela for sharing your special day with me!

This incredible couple put together the most intimate wedding I’ve ever shot. They had just 40 of their family and closest friends share a glorious golden afternoon wedding on their beautiful Buxton property. The style was rustic and simplistic with bouquets of soft pastel flowers, wood log candle holders and wooden hearts which read LOVE, summing up the day perfectly. The bridal party consisted of the couples fur babies and we managed to include some shots with Tess’s treasured horse. Their property was bathed in the most incredible sunset that afternoon, and the festivities continued long into the evening. Thank you Jeff & Tess for allowing me to capture your special day!
